The next Kath­mandu Kids Fundrais­ing Cock­tail Night was held on Mon­day 5th  Sep­tem­ber 2011 at The Con­ser­va­tory Bar above Carnegies.

The main auc­tion and silent auc­tion were over­whelm­ing successes. We thank all of our gen­er­ous spon­sors for their sup­port. The auc­tions items were:

MAIN AUCTION ITEM ONE: The won­der­ful peo­ple at   Cap­tain Cook Cruises  have donated a 2.5 hour cruise on the beau­ti­ful Queen of The Val­ley for up to 35 peo­ple which includes cock­tail food and beer, wine and soft­drinks. Val­ued at $3500.00, it is an excit­ing auc­tion item that would be per­fect for any upcom­ing birth­day or cor­po­rate event. (Con­di­tions for the boat cruise– Char­ter time would need to be approx 19.00–21.30, not avail­able on a Fri­day or Sat­ur­day evening, nor dur­ing November/December and redeemed by 31st March 2012.)

MAIN AUCTION ITEM 2: Acclaimed WA artist, Helen Nor­ton has once again donated a few amaz­ing pieces. The Fully framed ‘Cook­ing the Catch’ lim­ited edi­tion col­lo­graph, com­plete with cer­tifi­cate of authen­tic­ity and mea­sur­ing 1.2m x .9m) is one of them. Val­ued at $2500.00, it is a won­der­ful addi­tion to the dis­cern­ing col­lec­tors col­lec­tion. The other piece is a lim­ited edi­tion screen print– ‘The First Fish’ is also fully framed and val­ued at $1800.00.It is item 5 in the silent auc­tion below.

MAIN AUCTION ITEM 3: The Scene Team are pro­vid­ing a photo booth on the night for the cap­tur­ing of some fes­tive moments. They are also donat­ing the booth as an auc­tion item for your next event! Lift the level of your event by hav­ing your very own photo booth com­plete with cus­tom prints. Val­ued at $1200.00

MAIN AUCTION ITEM 4: A Golf­ing Expe­ri­ence- A round of golf with WA Tour Pro Jar­rod Mose­ley -1999 Heineken Clas­sic & 2002 Aus­tralian PGA Cham­pi­onship Win­ner– at The Cut includ­ing carts and lunch for win­ning bid­der and two guests. Spe­cial thanks to The WA PGA and The Cut Golf Course  for this price­less experience.

MAIN AUCTION ITEM 5:  Thankas are the epit­ome of Nepalese Art. This framed Thanka has been painted by a Thanka Mas­ter who teaches the chil­dren at the Sun­rise Orphan­age his long earned skills. Donated to us from Sun­rise Chil­drens Association.

MAIN AUCTION ITEM 6: Cour­tesy of Vil­lage Road­show, a dou­ble pass to every movie pre­mier through­out the year. An amaz­ing buy for the movie lover to get to see all the films before they are released! Well over 50 movies. Val­ued at approx. $2000.00
